I'm a classical musician I'm a classical pianist, performer,& teacher. Happy positive-thinker. INFJ; introvert as defined by Jung. Libertarian fiscally & socially, except I'm rather hawkish. Much prefer the large variety of activities available in very big cities, especially Houston & NYC. Raised in Alabama, lived in Dallas & San Francisco. I love travel, have traveled a lot, but also treasure quiet time at home. Love old houses & big-city pre-war high-rises. Spiritual, but not "organized religion". I don't watch television, but I love movies. Life is what you believe it is & what you make it. Paleo/Primal.
READING: I'm usually reading simultaneously humor, history, fiction, other. At the time of this posting I'm reading "Texts from Jane Eyre" (humor), "American Nations" by Woodward (history), "Double Dexter" by Lindsay (fiction), and "1Q84" by Haruki Murakami (other).

e, I practice this daily, and intend to do so for the rest of my life. Also helpful to me have been "The Compound Effect" by Darren Hardy, and "The 4-Hour Workweek" by Timothy Ferriss.
MUSIC: Every day I listen to a new-to-me-recording or pull out one of my old recordings. This week I'm listening to the WTC Books 1 & 2 by Glen Gould, 1968-70; Bach Partitas 3, 5, & 6 by Maria Tipo (I'm working on the 3rd Partita right now--I've just begun putting some Baroque back into my repertoire having performed mainly Romantic and Contemporary Eras music for quite a while now); Josquin Desprez Stabat Mater & Motets by Philippe Herreweghe & La Chapelle Royale; and The Very Best of Thomas Hampson, who is my favorite baritone of all time.
