Cultured Girl for Cultured Guy
Faust all the way! My first experience with Opera was Handel's Semele. I remember really getting hooked on it because not only was it in English but it was about one of the Greek myths of which I was a fan of at the time. I love a lot of Gounod's operas. I'm not so much of a fan of the German ones but I like the French and Italian ones. Benjamin Britten's Turn of the Screw is another favorite.
